Cappataggleandamp;rsquo;s Daniel Nevin opened the scoring after a minute with a pointed free and Gary Hennelly responded soon after with a Pearses point. Cappataggle’s Jarlath Mannion then hit 1-1 after two super solo runs. Brian Sweeney pointed two frees for Pearses in response. Cappataggle were well on top now with goals from Donal Mannion and Sean Collins and points from Daniel Reddan and Nevin (2 frees). Pearseandamp;rsquo;s only replies were points from Ronan Oandamp;rsquo;Neill and Sweeney (free) leaving the score 3-5 to 0-5 at the interval.andamp;nbsp;Pearses then outscored their opponents 2-6 to 1-5 and reduced the deficit to just a single score in the second half. The lively Cappataggle attack were still causing Pearses problems. Nevin and Ronan Bellew swapped points on the resumption and and Bellew and Sweeney with two more points for Pearses reduced the deficit further. Pearses had further points form Sweeney, Hennelly and Bellew with goals coming from Conor Oandamp;rsquo;Neill and Hennelly.
