Our Under 13 footballers were narrowly defeated in the League Final last Bank Holiday Monday in Menlough. They had played 5 games, winning 4-in-a-row, defeating Williamstown, Killererin, Cortoon Shamrocks and Headford, to qualify for the Final. They had lost to Milltown in the first game of the season and were hopeful gaining revenge. They competed well but ultimately came up short against an very good Milltown team. Great credit must go to Management of Des McCabe and Mike Carr for the work they have done with this group. Well done to all.
