The Toddie Byrne U14 Shield Competition takes place this coming weekend (Friday 5th, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April). There are 2 groups in the Shield compeition, with 5 teams in each. Our lads have been drawn in Group B along with Tuam HC, Ballinasloe, Michandamp;eacute;al Breathnach and our neighbours Sarsfields.
Pearses have a bye for first round of games on Friday, April 5th. All our Group B games on Saturday 6th will be played in Ballymacward. They are as follows: Pearses v Tuam HC at 10am, Pearses v Michandamp;eacute;al Breathnach at 12pm, Pearses v Sarsfields at 12.40pm and Pearses v Ballinasloe 2.40 pm.
The Final will be played in Pearse Stadium on the Sunday, hopefully we will be contesting it. Please come along to Ballymacward on Saturday, for what should be a great day of hurling action. Best of luck to Manager Pat Healy and the lads.
