Senior Team Manager John Raftery has stepped down after three years at the helm. Pearses reached Senior Quarter-Finals both of JR’s first two years. Gort were the opponents in 2012, as Pearses lost out by 3, after a late fightback. In 2013 Loughrea were lucky to prevail by one point.
Injuries hit the panel hard in 2014, but Pearses survived a relegation battle with Kinvara, having previously recorded a super win over recent All-Ireland Champions, St Thomas’. On behalf of the all involved with the Club, a sincere thanks to JR for the work he has put in over the past three years.
