The club’s long standing Lotto jackpot of €19,800 was won on January 5th by Club member and player, Thomas Broderick, Cloonkeenkerrill, Colemanstown. Winning numbers were: 1, 5, 9, 18. At the presentation of the winning cheque Thomas informed us that the winning numbers are his date of birth. Congratulations Thomas and we hope you enjoy your winnings!
Because of how long the jackpot had run for, our Lotto committee were prepared for an eventual winner and so a new jackpot of €10,600 began on Monday night, January 12th in Kennys, Castleblakeney. Amazingly the jackpot was won for a second week in-a-row! The winner was David Gordon, Ballinamore Bridge. The numbers this time around were 2, 6, 12 and 20. Again, our congratulations to David. The jackpot returns to €3,000 next week in Egan’s, Ballymacward.
The National G.A.A Club Draw tickets are currently available from management committee and players. This draw is a fundraising opportunity for all G.A.A. clubs, with all monies raised retained by the club. There are 15 great prizes, including a trip with the All-Stars, a trip to New York and All-Ireland Final tickets.
