Galway venues will host five games this year in the 2014 Allianz Hurling and Football Leagues, three football and two hurling. The footballers will host northern trio Donegal, Down and Armagh, while the hurlers host the Dubs and Tipperary.
Details of the five games are as follows: Galway v Donegalandamp;nbsp;(Football),andamp;nbsp;Sunday 9th February @ 2pm, Pearse Stadium.Galway v Dublinandamp;nbsp;(Hurling),andamp;nbsp;Sunday 16th February @ 2pm, Pearse Stadium.Galway v Downandamp;nbsp;(Football),andamp;nbsp;Sunday 9th March @ 2pm, Tuam Stadium.Galway v Tipperaryandamp;nbsp;(Hurling),andamp;nbsp;Sunday 16th March @ 2pm, Pearse Stadium.Galway v Armaghandamp;nbsp;(Football),andamp;nbsp;Sunday 30th March @ 2pm, Pearse Stadium.
Obviously, this will result in increased traffic in the Salthill and Tuam areas on Match Days and Galway GAA request all Supporters attending these games to arrive early and to be conscious, mindful and respectful to the needs of Local Residents. Marshalls will be posted on duty outside the Stadium on Match Days to guide Supporters to the designated Car Parks and to advise Patrons not to park illegally or irresponsibly.
Entry to these games in Pearse Stadium and Tuam Stadium will be by Ticket only and that there is a very significant benefit for Supporters who purchase Tickets before Match Day, from participating Centra and SuperValu Shops throughout the County. Tickets purchased in advance (before Match Day) will cost andamp;euro;10, whereas Tickets purchased on Match Day, outside the Stadium, will cost andamp;euro;15. The concession price for Students and Senior Citizens is andamp;euro;10 and there is no charge for Juveniles (U16).andamp;nbsp;
