With many of the Senior hurlers making a return to ‘Big Ball’ action, ourandamp;nbsp;Junior Footballers recorded their first win of the season yesterday in Gurteen, where they defeated Ballinasloe in a high scoring game, 6-14 to 4-9. Goals came from Enda Cunniffe (2), Tom Flannery, Richie Lally (2) and Ronan Skehill. Our U13 footballers were also in action yesterday evening, making the trip to Headford for League Round 2. However they were unlucky to lose out narrowly 3-8 to 2-8 in an evenly contested game.
