Castlegar defeated Kinvara in the second Relegation Playoff Replay last week setting up the ‘Last Chance Saloon’ Relegation Playoff between Pearses and Kinvara. The game will take place Saturday week (5th November) in Athenry. Pearses have been dealt a blow this week, with regular Centre-Back Shane Raftery having left for Australia. Kinvara, who have also lost some of their own to emigration, forced a playoff in the first game against Castlegar after a late surge that drew them level in Clarinbridge two weeks ago. They will look to County panelists Colm Callanan, Shane Kavanagh and Ger Mahon to lead the charge against Pearses. Please come along and support the team.
