Our Senior hurlers take on Ardrahan in the Preliminary Quarter-Final of the Kilbeacanty 7s Tournament this Monday, June 2nd. St Thomas’ await the winners in the Quarter-Final. Our Junior C hurlers play Loughrea in Round 1 of the Championship this Friday at 7pm in Loughrea.
Our U12 hurlers recorded a second win from two last week, when they defeated Rahoon-Newcastle at home by two points (6-4 to 4-8). The teams were level at half-time 2-1 apiece, but Rahoon-Newcastle pulled ahead in the second half to lead by eight points going into the closing stages. Pearses, amazingly, struck for four goals in the final minutes to snatch the win. A great performance and a second win from two games to date for the lads and ladies!! Well done to all involved.
