Club Notes 01-07-14

Our U12 hurlers got last week off to a good start, with a comprehensive win over Tuam. In the U14 Football League, we were awarded the points when Williamstown did not field. The U14 Football Championship Semi-Finalandamp;nbsp;v Milltownandamp;nbsp;is this Friday evening (July 7th). Neutral venue TBC.
Our Junior B hurlers defeated Moycullen in the Championship, 2-15 to 0-7, a second win from two games. Pearses (v Moycullen): P O’Brien; T Broderick, P Raftery, J Jenkins; L Morrissey, D Wynne, B Egan; P Moore, N Skehill (0-1): N Gelston (0-1), C O’Grady (0-3), J Lally (0-1); L Murphy (0-4), R Donnellan (2-4), G Hennelly (0-1). Subs used: P Lally, D Naughton, G Dywer.
The Minors hurlers were defeated, away to Killimordaly, in the last Championship Group game. However, a place in the knockout stages has already been secured.
Our Annual Candamp;uacute;l Camp will take place next week, 7th to 11th July. The camp runs from 10am to 2.30pm each day. A Discount is available by registering your child on the official Candamp;uacute;l Camp website before Friday 4th. Otherwise please contact Anthony, 087 779 7011.
Lotto numbers this week were 5, 7, 25 and 30, no winner. Next week’s draw for our andamp;euro;19,800 Jackpot will be in McGanns, Attymon. Our June ‘250 Club’ Draw was also made, the winners were as follows: 1st Jimmy Kelly, 2nd Derek Barrett and 3rd Siobhan Daly.
