Training for the Under 21 team is in progress, with the first round of the Championship scheduled for February 9th. The Under 21 competition is run on a knockout basis, with a back door system in place. The draw for that first round is this Tuesday, January 22nd. U21 Team Manager is Tomandamp;aacute;s Kenny and Selectors are Shane Raftery, Cormac Ward, Paul Bellew and David Cunniffe. The club are running a ‘Score Prediction’ competition. The quiz consists of 25 prediction questions for sporting events throughout the year, with points given to each of the 5 answers provided for each question. The person with most points at the end of the year wins as cash prize of andamp;euro;250. Entry is andamp;euro;10 and prediction sheets are available from Club Officers and Players. Sheets need to be returned to club officers no later than February 8th.
