Pádraig Pearses GAA wish to sincerely sympathise with the family of Kathleen Raftery on her recent passing.
Kathleen, side by side with Paddy, was one of our clubs great supporters and always there to help down through the years.
Her love for Padraig Pearses GAA Club was obvious to all. With her three sons, Brendan, Paraic & Kevin playing at all grades for the club, there was no prouder woman in the parish. Paraic continues to be a prominent club development officer and tireless behind the scenes worker for our club.
Today, we sympathise with her husband Paddy; children Anne, Claire, Brendan, Paraic, Miriam & Kevin, her cherished grandchildren, her brother Pat Joe, sisters Margaret & Mary and the extended Murray and Raftery families, her neighbours and friends.
Padraig Pearses GAA club have lost a true and loyal friend and supporter.
